I myself Robert Archer started my apprenticeship into antique restoration at the tender age of 16, I loved the idea of restoring something old into something new again. I began learning the art of traditional hand French polishing and privileged to work alongside experts in quality antique restorations and upholstery I learnt not only a beautiful trade but a passion for life.
I later set up Archer’s Antique Restorations and expanded my knowledge with a great team of professional restorers who work alongside me and am proud to provide a high-quality service and expertise to everyone.
We have worked with local homes to provide finishes and restorations to domestic pieces such as tables, chair, bureaus, floor, panelling and stairs. We love seeing the before and after of antique restoration in homes and being able to revive furniture back to life to go on for decades to come.
We have also had the privilege of working and providing services to museums, hotels, retirement homes, embassies, manor houses, country homes and listed properties. Over the years we have also carried out quality antique restorations with PGA golf courses.
We believe that a personal, friendly and dependable service is what everyone deserves and we make every effort to provide this. We do not dismiss any furniture as unrepairable and one of our core principles is to have more sustainability in life including the recycling of antique furniture. We will help you transform your furniture or home back to its former glory.
Ask any of the team at Archers Antique Restorations about their outstanding work and they will say that it is enjoyable and that the passion every member of our team exhibits means we take great pride in delivering high-quality workmanship now and for years to come.
